Les Peupliers Loire is a beautifully restored 200-year-old farmhouse set in the heart of the Loire Valley UNESCO World Heritage region — halfway between Saumur and Chinon, and within easy reach of some of the finest châteaux, vineyards, and villages in France.
When you take exclusive hire of Les Peupliers Loire, there are no other guests. The five ensuite rooms, the heated outdoor pool, the gardens, the dining terrace, and your hosts Louise and Luke are entirely at your group’s disposal. It is as close as you can get to having your own private French farmhouse — without any of the work.
We sleep up to ten guests across five king-bedded ensuite rooms, making us ideal for a group of close friends or family who want to celebrate properly, in a setting that feels genuinely special. Whether you are flying in from London, New York, or further afield, the Loire Valley is one of Europe’s most accessible and most beautiful destinations — and we are perfectly placed within it.

We welcome hen weekends that are centred around good food, fine wine, and the extraordinary experiences this region has to offer. Les Peupliers Loire is a peaceful, tranquil, and culturally rich property — if you are looking for a sophisticated celebration rather than a party weekend, you will feel very much at home here.
A Loire Valley hen weekend offers something far more memorable than the standard city break. Cycle through the vineyards, book group massage treatments with Luke, glide over the Loire in a hot air balloon, take a sunset river cruise on the Loire, or spend the afternoon at a wine tasting at a local domaine before returning to the terrace for an alfresco dinner.
The pace is yours to set — relaxed and indulgent, or active and adventurous, or both across the same weekend.

Les Peupliers Loire accommodates up to ten adults across five king-bedded rooms, with generous shared spaces inside and out that make it easy for a group to spend time together without ever feeling on top of one another.
Perfect for: Adult friend groups and family reunions. Minimum two nights; longer stays of 4–7 nights are particularly popular for groups travelling from the UK, USA, and further afield. Early booking is recommended for peak summer dates.

We are a peaceful, tranquil property and we ask that all exclusive hire guests respect the nature of the setting. Music and noise should be kept to a considerate level after 10:30pm. We welcome groups who are here to celebrate well — with good food, fine wine, and the culture and beauty of the Loire Valley — and we reserve the right to decline bookings that we feel are not suited to the character of the property.
